At The Performing Arts Institute, we offer one to one singing lessons with Founder and professional Singer, Carley Dawson. Carley has been teaching singing for 15+ years as one to one lessons, at performing arts schools, choirs, and at FE College level, and is a qualified teacher. Carley aims to build confidence around singing, and specialises in creating an environment that brings out the best in her students.
What do singing lessons include?
Singing lessons explore techniques behind breath control and support, vowel placement, diction, volume and pitch, plus much more, as well as covering a wide variety of songs and genres to build a repertoire. The lessons also cover acting through song and performance skills, with a thorough technical grounding in singing.
Each lesson is catered for the individual's needs, with specific exercises tailored for their progress. Lessons are fun, engaging, and insightful.
Singing is known for promoting other positive health benefits, including the natural release of endorphins when singing, increased lung function, and building self-confidence.
Singing Grades 1-8 available with ABRSM or Trinity College if desired
